Low Carb Diet
Low Carb Diet
One of the more famous diets around is the Low Carb Diet. This diet is usually accompanied by a higher protein no fat concept. Carbohydrates play a huge part in the ways people gain or lose weight. An overabundance of carbs will lead to weight gain and you may run the risk of developing obesity and other illnesses such as, heart disease, type II diabetes, high blood pressure, just to name a few.
Taking away or limiting carbs by being committed to a Low Carb Diet will help you in turn; lose weight which will definitely result in a healthier balance and a positive move toward living a good energetic life. Of course we have to apply exercise as well, to have the full wellness effect.
Many no carb diets are in effect such as Atkins, which in the induction part of the diet almost restricts carbs totally. The Zone Diet is also low carbohydrates but is not as restricted as Atkins. The South Beach Diet, which is another Low Carb Diet also, has the addition of counting calories. All of these no carb diets are effective, but to ensure there is maximum effectiveness you should include the dreaded exercise regime.
Not all people dread exercise, but let’s face it unless you are already in good shape and feel good about yourself; the thought of physical activity makes us shudder. As we settle in to the routine of the low carbohydrate diet we find ourselves almost enjoying the extra activities we are able to perform, because we have begun to lose weight. Soon we can expect to be more active than we ever thought possible.
Low Carb Diet and Weight Loss Management
After reaching our weight loss goals through our diet, maintaining your goal weight is much easier when you feel great about the way you look. When you look in the mirror and see an unhappy frumpy person, it is discouraging and you may sabotage your own diet. Whereas if you see the beginnings of a new more vibrant you it adds the incentive to do even more to attain that weight loss goal.
Some of the foods that are included in the Low Carb Diet are the same foods, but are eaten in smaller quantities, while others that may not be restricted such as brown rice, certain kinds of pasta, and whole grain breads, as you must be careful to limit them to the allotted calorie count or the plan won’t be as effective.
Low Carb Diet and Zone Diet
There are other factors that will make a difference in the low carb plan, this will include the addition of fresh fruit and vegetables and the right amounts of protein. The equation for the Zone Diet for example is 40 percent protein 30 percent fat and 30 percent carbohydrates, this equation balances out, and if you are in the Zone your caloric intake will be 100 calories for snacks and 500 calories for each meal consumed. The permission of your health care provider is recommended for this plan or any other as they will know your medical history.
This Low Carb Diet plan will work in the prevention of serious illness and the control of illness you already have. Share with your family what you have learned and they too will benefit from the total new you.
